Beautiful morning - sunny, calm. Moth trap was full of wasps! Counted over 50; this made emptying the egg trays a bit tricky - got stung last year! Not much of interest though. Nice flock of birds in the vicinity with Nuthatch, Coal Tit and Goldcrest calling. On the top lake there was the Little Grebe with three chicks "piping" away; and 20 Mallard too.
