Despite a humid night, not much in the moth trap of note. The Sparrowhawk family are still calling and flying around the Terrace Woodland.

Had a walk down Clock House Drive to see if the Devil's-bit Scabious was still there - and it was! It's really a plant of heathland and moorland but the soil is very sandy here; and there are other heathy plants too like Tormentil, Compact Rush, Glaucous Sedge.

There were plenty of Common Green Grasshoppers chirruping away. There were a few rather tatty butterflies including Meadow Brown, Gatekeeper and Small Skipper.
