Dedicated to the study and enjoyment of the flora and fauna of Keele University's extensive campus.

Just back from a sunny (honest!) week in Wales and how things have changed. Chiffchaff and Blackcap singing by the Walled Garden, Swallow flying over harassing a Sparrowhawk, many of the cherries now in full flower. The moth trap was poor after overnight rain just the normal suspects - Common Quaker, Hebrew Character, Clouded Drab and Small Quaker. Following the press release on our National Collection status for our Flowering Cherries we have been receiving a lot of interest. We had mention in the Telegraph and Times Higher Education Supplement too!
