25th November 2011

Glorious morning, clear sky and a slight chill in the air. Only a Chestnut in the moth trap so walked down to the top lake. Sunrise was impressive! There were 40 Mallard, four Little Grebes and 3 Moorhens on the lake and a lone Grey Heron sitting in a tree waiting for breakfast!
