Well the moth trap worked! It was full of very small flies plus Barred Sallow, Brick and Red-green Carpet. Follow the links for photos. There were also two Harlequin Ladybirds - the first of this invasive species that I've seen at Keele. It is an aggressive species that eats other, native, ladybirds so there is a lot of concern over its presence on our shores!
