17 Canada Geese on Lake 1 this morning is a record (if unwelcome) count for Keele. The resident male was distinctly agitated I'm told. Not so many moths this morning but did have the early plume moth Emmelina monodactyla.
A trip to Phase 3 at lunchtime was disappointing with just 2/3 Chiffchaffs and a couple of Buzzards.
