MAJOR NATIONAL AWARD FOR WORK TO TRANSFORM UNION SQUARE
The Landscape Group, Stratford Gardens, has won a major national award for its work transforming Union Square at Keele.
It has been awarded one of the BALI National Landscape Awards, in
the Hard Landscaping Construction (Construction cost over £1.5M)
category. The BALI National Landscape Awards, in association with
Horticulture Week, are the premier landscaping awards and are among the
landscape industries' highest accolades.
The project was managed by Estates and Development, alongside improvements to the Students' Union building.
Landscaped areas and hard paving was carried out while work on
improving the electricity supply network and lighting in the area was
underway.
The Arboretum Group were consulted on the trees to be planted - it's nice to see the work come to fruition!
