A chilly night and heavy dew this morning - but beautiful blue sky - classic autumnal weather! Nothing of note on the moth front but I did get this Mayfly Cloeon dipterum. It's a species of slow-moving or still water and is not uncommon here at Keele. Its rather yellowish colour shows that it is freshly hatched. The colour will darken. Also saw three Jays fly over the Walled Garden and a Blackcap feeding in the brambles.
