| Small Tortoiseshell is not so gaudy underneath |

Rain in the night sent the humidity rocketing. The trap was full of moths but nothing of note. However, at lunchtime, there were 20+ Small Tortoiseshells feeding on the Creeping Thistle and Ragwort in the Walled Garden. Haven't seen this many for years.
