| Common Swift |

Having caught very few moths this year it is comforting, and alarming at the same time, to learn that the same is true across the country with words like "dire" being banded about. I had 5 moths this morning; a Swallow Prominent and 4 Common Swifts. The Swift moths (5 in all) are among our most primitive moths; having no functional mouthparts in the adult.
