Another fruitless search for the possible Iberian Chiffchaff. It's going to be difficult to rule on the validity of this record! Anyway we had a walk over Phase 3 and saw a Swallow, Whitethroat and heard several Blackcaps. There were plenty of Small Tortoiseshells, Peacocks and Large White butterflies. A very pleasant spring day. Heading back to campus I found a moth on a tree trunk - a rare event these days!

March Dagger Moth Diurnea fagella; a common spring species.
