The forecast rain did not arrive. Was late emptying the moth trap and things were a little lively! A nice Twin-spotted Quaker and a Red-green Carpet were the highlights; plus an enormous Caddisfly yet to be identified.
Took a small group of folks around the lakes. Several Nuthatches calling and a pair of Little Grebes on the lake. Spring flowers were good; and even Bluebells were coming into flower - it's a weird season. The cold weather has "telescoped" everything.
