11C overnight after temps of -1C just a few days ago - what a climate! There were a lot of moths in the car headlights going home last night so I was hoping for a good selection this morning in the trap. I was not disappointed : Scarce Umber, Mottled Umber, December Moth, Winter Moth, Satellite, Chestnut, Spruce Carpet, Grey Pine Carpet and Feathered Thorn (what fantastic antennae). Not a bad haul for the time of year!
