At last, a new moth for Keele - a Beautiful Snout! It is a species of heathy woodland with a Bilberry understory. The nearest habitat of that sort to Keele is Hanchurch; about 2miles as the moth flies. An indication that moths do sometimes move considerable distances from their usual haunts. The term "Snout" comes from the long palps that elongate the mouth to resemble a snout.
