Well the rain held off for an hour whilst we had our annual cherry walk. A dozen folks turned up and here we can see Peter Thomas explaining what makes a cherry a cherry and not an almond or peach. We then moved on to look at a few of the mature cherries including Tai-Haku and Takasago and finally the yellow-flowered Ukon - though it is really pale cream!
