Dropped on lucky with the first lunchtime walk of the year. After temperatures of -8C it was refreshing to have sunshine and warmth! 14 of us walked from the Terrace down and around the lakes. Nuthatch, Chaffinch and Wren were singing, Jackdaws were cavorting around the Clock House and female Mallards were being harassed by males on the top lake. All in all; a nice walk! Finished off by having a look at the developments in Union Square which were progressing rapidly.
